All employees who have had a period of furlough will have their accrued annual leave for that duration topped upped to 100% of their normal salary for those hours. To keep the administration for this as simple as possible, this will apply in the final furlough month, when the employee has confirmed with the manager when they are returning to work.

This will also include any bank holidays that have fallen in that furlough period for those entitled to those hours back.

Employees also have the option to use annual leave hours to top up their salary during any period of furlough - just contact your manager or HR if you would like to do this.

Your manager will have the discretion to liaise with you about moving any pre-planned annual leave, however this will be restricted to those with exceptional circumstances to ensure all annual leave remaining can be used for the remainder of 2020.
