Donna Glendenning (Senior Forest School Leader & Trainer)

Donna is Acorn Forest School's fire expert and master chef. After completing her degree in History, Donna started working at Acorn in 2006 and we have been lucky enough to keep hold of her ever since. She completed her Level 6 Childcare qualification whilst at Acorn before helping Gemma establish Acorn Forest Schools in 2009. Since 2009, Donna has spent most of her time delivering or training Forest School. Like Gemma, she has a L3 Certificate in Forest School Programme Leadership and a L4 PTLLS Award. Donna is also a Safeguarding Lead, SENDCo, and is fully trained in Paediatric and Outdoor Activity First Aid.
