Therefore, we would like to offer every employee the opportunity to get a flu vaccination without worrying about the cost.Acorn will reimburse the cost of your flu jab of up to £15. What is the advice around the flu vaccination?Flu vaccinations help protect adults and children at risk from flu and its complications and NHS offer it for free for those: Adults 65 and over.People with certain medical conditions (speak to your GP to see if you fall under this category). Pregnant women.People living with someone who is at high risk from coronavirus (on NHS shielding patient list). For everyone else, it is deemed as precautionary, hence why there is a small cost attached, but one Acorn want to support for you to feel safe. Where can I get the flu vaccine? Your GP surgery (if you fall under the above category).A local pharmacy offering the service (there may be a little bit of a waiting list).Your midwifery service if you are pregnant. How do I get Acorn to pay for my flu vaccination?The most effective method is to talk to your local pharmacy who provide the service, they will charge you anywhere between £9 to £15 for the flu vaccination. Simply keep the receipt and submit it as an expense (see Expenses policy) and you will receive the full reimbursement (up to £15) in the following payroll run.
