About our Out-Of-School-Club

Barton Seagrave Out-of-School Club provides fun and engaging childcare for children before and after school. The club caters for children aged 4 to 11 years and operates from a designated room next to the school hall and the children have full use of the school hall. The club is open to all children who attend the school and runs Monday - Friday, term time only.

Fees From January 2024

Breakfast Club
7.30am – 8.40am, £6.00 per child
Breakfast includes cereals, toast, fresh fruit, orange juice and milk.

Afterschool Club

3.15pm – 6pm, £12.25 per child
A variety of healthy nutritionally balanced light snacks are on offer such as, pasta, pizza, chicken fajitas, beans on toast and noodles. Desserts are cake, fruit salad and yogurt.


Fresh fruit and water are always available for the children.

Activities

After school we enjoy outdoor activities such as den building, football, cricket and basketball. We also use the adventure play equipment based on the playgrounds. Indoors we have a cosy book area, an imaginative play area, messy play area and a chill zone for the older children.

Facilities

We have a large outdoor space which comprises of a playground where the children can play football, basketball, tennis or roller skate. We also have an undercover area we can use and a field area ideal for summer picnics, den building and team games with plenty of space to explore and have fun with all kinds of outdoor equipment.

Meet Lucy, our Out-Of-School Club Manager

Lucy has lived in the local area since birth. She has previously worked within early years as part of the management team where she gained her Bachelor of Arts, integrated working with children and their families in Early Years in 2017.

Most recently Lucy has worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in local schools with children ages 4-11 years old. 

Lucy has two sons of her own and in her free time she likes supporting their love of football.
