About our Holiday Club

The Education centre, located at Kettering Football Club, Burton Park, Polwell Lane, Burton Latimer NN15 5PS

Burton Park Holiday Club provides a range of activities for children aged between 4 – 11 years old. The holiday club is situated in the Education centre, located at Kettering Football Club, amongst plentiful green space which can provide the experience of a forest school. The children are encouraged to be creative, inquisitive, free spirited and independent whilst having fun and creating those lifelong friendships. It is a great way for children of all ages to come together and have some fun in a safe and secure setting.

The club runs from: 

8.00am - 5.30pm, Monday-Friday (excluding Bank holidays)

Fees from January 2024

Full day
8.00am - 5.30pm, £34 per child
Includes breakfast, tea plus snacks and drinks throughout the day.

Morning session
8.00am - 1.00pm, £18.50 per child
Includes breakfast plus a morning snack and drinks.

Afternoon session
1.00pm - 5.30pm, £18.50 per child
Tea plus an afternoon snack and drinks.

Short day session
8.00am - 3.30pm, £27.50 per child
Includes breakfast, plus snacks and drinks throughout the day.

Facilities
The Centre in which the holiday club is run, has one large, light room offering plenty of space, a kitchen space, a secure play space outside and additional field space around the garden area.

Activities
The children have free flow access to an outside area along. The children also enjoy regular Forest School sessions which include, woodland walks, minibeast hunting, tool use including, drills and saws and building and lighting fires. We have available a wide range of activities that children have free access to, including, arts and crafts, baking, board games, puzzles, role play and construction, as well as yoga and music man Mark who visits frequently.

Catering
We offer a variety of healthy meal options which the children can help to prepare and self serve. Examples of our menus are as follows:

Breakfast – Cereals, toasts, crumpets, fresh fruit, milk and fruit juice.
Tea/snacks  - Sandwiches, cheese and crackers, pasta, fresh fruit and vegetable sticks and dip and popcorn.

Children are required to bring a packed lunch.

Lucy Curchin, our Holiday Club Manager

Lucy previously worked within early years as part of the management team where she gained her Bachelor of Arts, working with children and their families in Early Years in 2017.

More recently Lucy has worked as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant in local schools with children ages 4-11 years old. 

Lucy has two sons of her own and in her free time she likes supporting their love of football.
