About our Out-Of-School Club

Henry Chichele Out-of-School Club provides fun and engaging childcare for children before and after school. The club caters for children from reception to year 6 and operates from a designated room in the school. The club is open to all children who attend the school.

Our children are welcome to use the Holiday Club which is held at Burton Park. We aim to provide a safe, fun environment in which the children can explore and learn through play. Children are encouraged to have their own voice and make suggestions as to what they would like to do.

The club runs from 7.45am-6pm, Monday-Friday, term time only

We serve freshly prepared meals and snacks such as jacket potatoes, chicken fajitas and lovely desserts including fruit flan with fresh cream and homemade flapjack. Children can also be involved in preparing some of the food if they wish.

Fresh fruit and water are always available for the children.

We have a large outdoor space which comprises of a playground where the children can play football, basketball, tennis or roller-skate. We also have an undercover area we can use and field area ideal for summer picnics, den building and team games with plenty of space to explore and have fun with all kinds of outdoor equipment.

Meet Nicole, our Out-Of-School Club Manager

"It's always been my passion to work with children so to be a part of the Acorn team and to be able to say I am the Manager at Henry Chichele OOSC is a great achievement. Over the past year I have been working at the Burton Park Holiday Club too which i really enjoy and is lots of fun! I will be working towards a Playworker qualification hopefully this year which I'm really looking forward too. My hobbies are just to be outdoors spending time with my little family and enjoying time as much as possible!"
