We have robust risk assessments in place relating to Covid-19, alongside our normal risk assessments. We have an outbreak management plan which enables us to increase and decrease the measures in the setting, depending on the number of cases in the local community and in our provision. As standard, children are asked to wash their hands regularly, including when entering the club and before snack and mealtimes. Members of staff regularly clean contact points throughout the sessions, and cleaners do a more thorough clean at the end of each day. We aim to spend as much time outside as possible, which is deemed a safer environment, and we have CO2 monitors to occasionally monitor airflow inside. Staff are encouraged to do lateral flow tests regularly, and all guidance from NHS Test & Trace, Public Health England, and the Department for Education is followed at all times.
