Our forest school is a holiday club like no other in the respect that it is completely outdoors. Sun, rain and snow - no matter the weather - the children are out and about exploring the woods at Salcey Forest.

As one of the largest childcare providers in the area, we have built a reputation on delivering outstanding childcare and our recent Ofsted report certainly reflects this, as noted by the inspector, “This holiday club is a special place to be”. As a charitable social enterprise, we are committed to providing as many children as possible with high quality outdoor experiences that support their holistic development, and our forest school holiday club does not disappoint.

Located in the middle of Salcey Forest the holiday club offers fun, active childcare for children aged 4-14 during the school holidays and is delivered by our team of experienced forest school leaders. Children enjoy activities such as tree climbing, cooking on campfires, mini beast hunting and den building, to name just a few. Our recent Ofsted report praised all aspects of the holiday club, in particular the enthusiasm children have for being there and the inclusiveness of the provision. The inspector reported ”The environment is harmonious. All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) work well together as a team” and “When children arrive, they wave enthusiastically to their friends and greet them with open arms”.
