The staff, children and the families at our New Bradwell nursery are celebrating after receiving 'Outstanding' in every category in the nursery’s recent Ofsted inspection. The nursery, which provides places for 33 children, was given the top grade across all categories and was praised for the strong and meaningful bonds the staff develop with the children and families.

The report commented that "Through a programme of highly effective home visits and settling-in sessions, staff and children build trusting relationships. Children start at the setting feeling they are already part of the ‘nursery family’.” The inspector described how "children show through their demeanour, behaviour and enthusiasm that the nursery is ‘their place’ and that they feel totally safe, secure and welcome.”

The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities was also described as “exemplary” and “highly effective”, recognising an inclusive approach where support is being tailored to each child’s specific needs.

The Nursery Manager, Aimee Pawlak was described by the inspector as “an exceptionally committed and talented leader” and said “I’m delighted that we’ve received an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted result, it is a great testament to the passionate practitioners we have at our setting and it is lovely to read the positive feedback from our parents and carers.”

Zoe Raven, CEO of Acorn Early Years said “it’s a fantastic report, and we love the way it captures the very special personality of the nursery, noting that “the whole staff team know all children exceptionally well.” It is so well deserved, and we’re very proud of Aimee and her whole team.”
