We also operate a buddy system which supports children’s wellbeing and development when the main key person is away from the setting.

The Acorns and Squirrels Room caters for children aged four months to two years old. The Acorn room has 12 spaces and the Squirrels room has 16 spaces. It has a bright main play room, which offers a range of sensory play with a range of resources to support children’s physical, emotional and language development. A sleep area and nappy changing/toilet facilities. Children have access to a safe enclosed garden.

Our Oaks Room caters for children aged three and four, and has 24 spaces, and is a bright room with a wide range of open ended, rich first-hand experiences. All the nursery meals are freshly prepared and delivered each day by Acorn Catering, which operates from our hub kitchen at our Shenley Church End nursery. Meet Sharon, our Nursery Manager

I have worked at Mulberry for over 40 years now. I knew at an early age I wanted to work in childcare. It is a rewarding work. I have a Qualification – NNEB.  It is a pleasure to see children grow and develop from a baby through to a school age child. It makes my day to know I help shape their development and lifelong skills for the future.

Past time and where do I love to visit – I enjoy music and spending time with family. I am a regular Charity Shop shopper always on the hunt for a bargain for nursery. I love Poole in Dorset and visit often.

Sharon is also our Designated Safeguarding Lead, so if you ever have any concerns or would like to chat about anything safeguarding related, please visit or call the nursery on 01908 653867 and ask to speak to Sharon directly - alternatively, the setting can provide a direct email address for her.

If you have any questions, or would like to book a visit please contact us on [email protected] or call us on 01908 653867.
